Based on new technology, user requests and/or market demand,
Pathlore constantly adds new features and functionality to its
products. Historically, Pathlore completes one major product release
and several minor releases annually. Software releases are available
to customers in two ways, with a General Availability (GA) or
patch release. Each release can be available to a customer through
channels identified below.
General Availability (GA). The
is a product release with a major version change number (X.X).
It may include new functionality, new features, and bug fixes.
Pathlore will announce the availability of a GA release to customers
on our web site Customer Zone (www.pathlore.com), through our
eNews emails, at user groups, and product marketing communications.
Customers active in Pathlore's Customer Care Program (CCP) may
order a GA release at no charge.
Patch Releases. This release is
targeted at customers with specific problems with a Pathlore Software
product. Each patch is tracked individually. Patch Releases are
distributed and tracked by Technical Support. Customers experiencing
problems with Pathlore Software can call Technical Support for
assistance, if a patch is available to resolve the customer's
problem it will be shipped to customer immediately. All patch
releases will be scheduled to be incorporated into a future GA
release.
