Phone Self Service

What is Phone Self Service?
Phone Self Service (PSS) is an Integrated Voice Response (IVR) system that allows self-service over the telephone. It was formerly called Call Registrar.

PSS enables students to access training course information and provides self-registration using the telephone. This includes Registrations, Information access and Evaluations.

Pathlore's mission is to provide end-to-end e-learning solutions for our customers. PSS enhances and extends the LMS solution to your entire enterprise, including workers that have no web access or cannot access the web due to vision or mobility disabilities.

Who can use PSS?

  • All existing LMS Enterprise and LMS Classroom customers
  • Organizations that have mobile workers (sales reps, health care workers etc.)
  • Organizations with student population that have no access to the web (health care workers, shop floor workers, banking personnel)
  • Organizations that are looking to provide an alternate way to access the LMS for their employees with vision and mobility disabilities (under Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as amended in 1998.)

Does Pathlore provide services for PSS?
Pathlore does provide services for PSS. For installation and implementation and any other consulting related to PSS, please contact your Account Executive.

What are the System Requirements for PSS?
The Systems Requirements are as follows:

  • Requires Pathlore LMS Enterprise or Pathlore LMS Classroom and Phone Self Service software running on a local area network
  • Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000 server
  • One (1) dedicated PC, 300 MHz Pentium processor (or better), 128 MB of RAM, 250 MB+ free space on the hard drive
  • CD-ROM drive (for installation)
  • At least one four-port Dialogic Voice board (three supplied with the product).Voice boards require PCI slots.
  • One analog phone line per Voice Board. Works with any PBX that provides analog lines, a function of most commercially available PBXs

Does PSS software ship with Voice Boards?
PSS is offered to customers as a turnkey solution and includes the software and three Dialogic Voice Boards with related drivers and accessories.

Does PSS have its own manual?
Yes. PSS has its own manual that ships with the product. This is available for download on the Online Support Site.

What is the pricing for PSS?
PSS is available as a licensed or subscribed option. Please contact you Account Executive for pricing information.

Is PSS available as a hosted option?
PSS is not offered as a hosted option currently.
